Which college games will NFL clubs send scouts to Saturday? College Football 24/7 brings you a glimpse at the teams that were credentialed to attend some of the biggest games in college football. For each game NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks examines which players could be drawing the most scouting attention in each game. And if you'd like to know which positions your NFL club might be scouting, NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt provides his primary draft needs for each team.
FSU at Louisville (played Thursday)
Clubs attending: Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, New York Giants, Houston Texans.
Three top players: FSU (CB P.J. Williams, QB Jameis Winston, OL Cameron Erving); Louisville (WR DeVante Parker, DE Lorenzo Mauldin, OL Jamon Brown).
Brooks' take: "It's not surprising to me that so many teams were there. You just have so much talent on both sides of the ball. Of course it was another chance to see Jameis Winston, but a guy like (Louisville's) Lorenzo Mauldin has been buzzing, too. And of course DeVante Parker had a lot of eyeballs on him as well."
Arizona at UCLA
Clubs attending: Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills.
Three top players: Arizona (WR Austin Hill, DB Tra'Mayne Bondurant, OL Mickey Baucus); UCLA (QB Brett Hundley, LB Eric Kendricks, CB Ishmael Adams).
Brooks' take: "Brett Hundley is the big attraction in that game, but Arizona's receivers are getting interest, too, and there are two or three of them. Not only Austin Hill, but there is interest in Cayleb Jones, too, who transferred from Texas. (UCLA LB) Eric Kendricks is another one who is getting a lot of looks."
Florida vs. Georgia (in Jacksonville, Fla.)
Clubs attending: Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans.
Three top players: Florida (CB Vernon Hargreaves, DE Dante Fowler, LB Antonio Morrison); Georgia (LB Leonard Floyd, DL Ray Drew, CB Damian Swann).
Brooks' take: "Without Todd Gurley playing, you don't have a lot of headliners, but it's a good chance to get a jump start on next year on some of the younger guys. (Georgia LB) Leonard Floyd is also a guy scouts are well aware of, and with the offense Florida likes to run, there will be some eyeballs on him to see how well he holds up against the run."
TCU at West Virginia
Clubs attending: Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers.
Three top players: TCU (QB Trevone Boykin, DB Sam Carter, CB Kevin White); West Virginia (OL Quinton Spain, WR Kevin White, DB Karl Joseph).
Brooks' take: "West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White is the big attraction there. But the production that (TCU QB) Trevone Boykin has put up has made people take a longer look at him, too."
Auburn at Ole Miss
Clubs attending: Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers.
Three top players: Auburn (C Reese Dismukes, WR Sammie Coates, RB Cameron Artis-Payne); Ole Miss (OL Laremy Tunsil, DB Cody Prewitt, CB Senquez Golson).
Brooks' take: "Cody Prewitt is the main one for Ole Miss, but really, that whole defense has some players that are worth watching. For Auburn, it's the center (Reese Dismukes); Nick Marshall, trying to figure out what he can do; and the two wide receivers, D'haquille Williams and Sammie Coates."
North Carolina at Miami
Clubs attending: San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos.
Three top players: North Carolina (DB Tim Scott, DL Ethan Farmer, LB Norkeithus Otis); Miami (RB Duke Johnson, LB Denzel Perryman, DB Ladarius Gunter).
Brooks' take: "Denzel Perryman and Duke Johnson are the main guys on the Miami side. Right now, Carolina doesn't have anyone that really rates high."
Arkansas at Mississippi State
Clubs attending: Buffalo Bills, St. Louis Rams.
Three top players: Arkansas (OL Brey Cook, TE A.J. Derby, DE Trey Flowers); Mississippi State (LB Benardrick McKinney, WR Jameon Lewis, QB Dak Prescott).
Brooks' take: "You've got defensive end Trey Flowers for Arkansas, Preston Smith at Mississippi State, and the (Benardrick) McKinney kid. And there is intrigue on Dak Prescott, as far as whether you can build an offense around him. People are wondering if he can play in a traditional offense, or if he is more of a system guy."
