Giovani Bernard is looking like he will miss the Cincinnati Bengals' *Thursday Night Football* matchup with the Cleveland Browns on NFL Network.
The running back sat out his second straight practice on Tuesday after missing the team's Week 9 win with hip and shoulder injuries, per the team's official website.
With the Bengals expected to hold out Bernard on the short week, Jeremy Hill anticipates carrying the load once again out of Cincy's backfield.
The rookie runner went off in Week 9 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, toting the rock 24 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

- Aaron Rodgers called his hamstring injury that he suffered in Week 8 "fine" during his weekly radio appearance on WAUK-AM.
- Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham didn't practice Tuesday after not appearing on the team's injury report Monday, per the team's official website.
Linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring), cornerback Leon Hall (concussion) and right tackle Andre Smith (ankle) also did not practice. The trio appears likely to miss Thursday's game.
- Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin ruled safety Troy Polamaluout of Sunday's game versus the New York Jets with a knee sprain. Rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier (ankle) will also miss the contest.
- Giants center Weston Richburg is undergoing tests on his injured right ankle, coach Tom Coughlin said Tuesday. Coughlin also confirmed Prince Amukamara's torn biceps was a season-ending injury.
- The Indianapolis Colts activated tackle Xavier Nixon (knee) from the IR-recall list on Tuesday. Nixon was placed on the list on Sept. 2 and returned to practice on Oct. 15.
- Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson suffered a sprained MCL during Houston's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and will likely miss two to four weeks, the Houston Chronicle reports, per a person close to the player.
Running back Arian Foster suffered a groin injury Sunday. The team is unsure of his status for its Week 11 game against the Cleveland Browns.
- Washington activated wide receiver Leonard Hankerson off the physically unable to perform list.
- Browns coach Mike Pettine said that wide receiver Andrew Hawkins will be a game-time decision for Thursday's night matchup with the Bengals, NFL Media's Aditi Kinkhabwala said on Tuesday's Around The NFL. Kinkhabwala added that, after seeing Hawkins earlier Tuesday, she would expect him to play against his former team.
