Notched atop the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys aren't about to abandon the ground-and-pound approach that helped them carve out their 7-3 record.
With nearly 50 more carries and 300 more yards than the next best runner, DeMarco Murray says he's prepared to shoulder the load the rest of the way.
"I'm ready," Murray said Monday, per ESPN Dallas. "Like I've said before, whatever they ask me to do I'm going to do it times 10. It's going to be an exciting next couple of weeks for us."
Averaging a league-best 123.3 yards per game, Murray has already set career highs in yardage (1,233) and carries (244), but the looming question is whether or not he can stay healthy into January. The fourth-year back has never played 16 games in a season since being drafted by the team in 2011.
The Cowboys have made a habit of crumbling late in the year, but there's no reason to believe they won't earn an invite to the big party if Murray can keep it up.
