Sam Bradford will face competition for Rams job in '15

Sam Bradford might or might not be in the Rams' plans for 2015.

The former No. 1 overall pick, who has completed just two full seasons under center and has a career 18-30-1 record as a starter, will return from his ACL injury to face stiff competition.

The most interesting part, according to head coach Jeff Fisher, is that Bradford will be squaring off against someone who is not in the building.

"There's going to be competition at the quarterback position, there's no doubt," Fisher told reporters. "With somebody that's not in the building right now. We're hopeful for that."

This is a clear indication that the Rams are not going to accept another season orbiting outside the playoff race. Bradford is intriguing enough, and has put together some solid numbers when given the full season to work, but Fisher cannot bank on his health anymore.

It's unclear what his statement means for guys like Shaun Hill and Austin Davis, but expect there to be another recognizable name on the depth chart come training camp.
