Football is back.
For Buffalo, we already know that their newest weapon, Percy Harvin, is in the house. LeSean McCoy is in the building, too.
But their division rivals might have some issues.
Muhammad Wilkerson is not on hand for the Jets. The star defensive lineman, by far the most valuable member of their front seven, is seeking a new mega deal that should have been done last year under previous general manager John Idzik.
That hasn't happened, so the former first-round pick will not be lifting weights with his teammates.
Of course, these workouts are voluntary and no player should be punished or looked at any differently for not showing up.
Many no-shows will go unreported, but because Wilkerson is an All-Pro-caliber player, we'll hear much more about it as the offseason progresses.
Now, the new brass has to deal with the mistakes of their predecessors and listen to us drone on about the one player who won't be showing up Monday.
