Patriots' Bryan Stork out for opener, placed on IR recall

Tom Brady will be back on the field for Thursday night's kickoff against the Steelers, but his offensive line will be short-staffed.

After sitting out the Patriots' last week of practices undergoing concussion protocol, center Bryan Stork was finally ruled out for Thursday's game with a concussion and was placed on IR Boomerang.

In Stork's place, rookie David Andrews and veteran Ryan Wendell will see the majority of snaps, though a starter for Thursday has not been named. Josh Kline remains another option to fill in if required.

One missing piece on New England's offense shouldn't derail Brady's return to Foxboro, but with the offensive line already in question, a picture-perfect Patriots opener may not be in the cards.
