Colts QBs Luck, Hasselbeck questionable vs. Texans

Andrew Luck is no lock to play on Thursday night.

The Colts on Wednesday listed their starting quarterback as questionable for Indy's Week 5 tilt against the Houston Texans, per the team's official website.

Luck was limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, telling reporters on Tuesday that he was "preparing to start, and to play," but acknowledging that he still wasn't 100 percent due to the subluxation he suffered in his throwing shoulder in Week 3.

Adding complexity to the matter, backup Matt Hasselbeck is also questionable with an illness. Hasselbeck looked solid in leading the Colts to a win over the Jaguars on Sunday, but the shaky status of both signal-callers led to Wednesday's re-signing of backup Josh Johnson.

The Colts desperately need their franchise passer back, but resting Luck would pad him with a full 10 days to heal before facing the Patriots in Week 6. Still harboring playoff aspirations, Indy would be wise to think long-term about their most valuable player.
