The Buffalo Bills have added a quarterback.
The team on Tuesday signed Josh Johnson, raising further questions about the health of starter Tyrod Taylor.
Coach Rex Ryan acknowledged Sunday that Taylor played through the pain of a nagging ankle injury in the Bills' win over the Tennessee Titans.
"I can tell you this: He is beat up right now," Ryan said, per The Buffalo News. "He's sore. You ought to see him -- he is sore. We knew he would be. Guys, he hasn't been 100 percent all season."
Few teams have endured more injury issues than the Bills, with running backs LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams missing time along with wideout Sammy Watkins. Taylor's status will dominate headlines in Buffalo heading into Sunday's battle with the Bengals.
