Which college games will NFL clubs send scouts to this weekend? College Football 24/7 brings you a glimpse at the teams that are credentialed to attend some of the weekend's biggest games.
Florida State at Clemson
Clubs attending:Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers.
Three top players: FSU (DB Jalen Ramsey, RB Dalvin Cook, QB Everett Golson); Clemson (DE Shaq Lawson, WR Artavis Scott, QB Deshaun Watson).
Matchup to watch: Ramsey is one of the nation's elite defensive players. He'll be the toughest matchup Scott has seen all season, depending on how often they are in one-on-one situations.
LSU at Alabama
Clubs attending:Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens.
Three top players: LSU (RB Leonard Fournette, DB Jalen Mills, OL Vadal Alexander); Alabama (RB Derrick Henry, DL Jarran Reed, LB Reggie Ragland).
Matchup to watch: Alabama's stout defensive front, led by Reed and Ragland, against Fournette's powerful, downhill style is the matchup that will decide this game. No team has run the ball effectively against the Crimson Tide this season, but the Heisman Trophy front-runner could easily be the first.
TCU at Oklahoma State
Clubs attending:Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans.
Three top players: TCU (WR Josh Doctson, QB Trevone Boykin, WR Kolby Listenbee); Oklahoma State (DE Emmanuel Ogbah, DB Jordan Sterns, WR James Washington).
Minnesota at Ohio State
Clubs attending:Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots.
Three top players: Minnesota (DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun, DB Eric Murray, LB De'Vondre Campbell); Ohio State (DE Joey Bosa, RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR Braxton Miller).
Matchup to watch: The Golden Gophers have one of the best secondaries in the Big Ten, and Ohio State's receiving corps will be re-adjusting to Cardale Jones at quarterback following the suspension of J.T. Barrett.
Notre Dame at Pittsburgh
Clubs attending:Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, San Diego Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers.
Three top players: Notre Dame (LB Jaylon Smith, OL Ronnie Stanley, CB KeiVarae Russell); Pittsburgh (WR Tyler Boyd, LB Matt Galambos, TE J.P. Holtz).
Matchup to watch: Russell vs. Boyd will certainly be a battle to watch, and one that could mean more for Boyd than for Russell. Boyd has 22 catches over his last two games, but his yardage per catch is significantly down this season (16.2 in 2014; 9.2 in 2015).
Arkansas at Ole Miss
Clubs attending:Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers.
Three top players: Arkansas (RB Alex Collins, OL Denver Kirkland, TE Hunter Henry); Ole Miss (DL Robert Nkemdiche, WR Laquon Treadwell, OL Laremy Tunsil).
Matchup to watch: Nkemdiche will be challenged by the biggest offensive line in college football. Although he might not see much action directly against Kirkland, he'll be tested with double-teams for much of the day by a Razorbacks offense intent on establishing its rushing attack and keeping Ole Miss' fast-paced offense off the field.
Mississippi State at Missouri (Thursday)
Clubs attending:Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams.
Three top players: Mississippi State (QB Dak Prescott, WR De'Runnya Wilson, CB Taveze Calhoun); Missouri (LB Kentrell Brothers, CB Aarion Penton, DE Charles Harris).
Matchup to watch: MSU's read-option offense is going to require Brothers, who is quietly having a spectacular season, to be alert and make accurate reads. Prescott is one of the best running quarterbacks in the country, and unlike many of them, he has the power to be effective in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
Baylor at Kansas State (Thursday)
Clubs attending:Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins.
Three top players: Baylor (DE Shawn Oakman, OL Spencer Drango, DL Andrew Billings); Kansas State (OL Cody Whitehair, DL Travis Britz, OL Boston Stiverson).
Matchup to watch: Oakman will be working against Kansas State's top offensive lineman, Whitehair, in front of a big collection of scouts from 20 NFL clubs. Oakman has just four sacks this season, but he leads the Bears with 11 tackles for loss.
