Tom Brady lost one of his favorite targets during the team's win over the New York Giants. Julian Edelman injured his foot in the first half of the Patriots tilt versus the Giants. New England announced that Edelman would not return to the contest. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported after the game that Edelman broke a bone in his foot, per a source. The receiver could be back before the end of the season.

- Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford was taken to the locker room for X-rays on his left shoulder during the third quarter of the game against the Dolphins. After the game Rapoport reported that Bradford has an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder, per a source. It's unclear how much time Bradford will miss.
Running back Ryan Mathews did not return to the game after being evaluated for a head injury.
- Steelers quarterback Landry Jones was carted off with an ankle injury during the first drive of the game against the Browns. Jones did not return to the game. Ben Roethlisberger was hoping to rest his mid-foot sprain, but had to enter the game to replace Jones.
- Cardinals offensive lineman Mike Iupati left the team's Sunday night game on a stretcher. Iupati injured his neck when he collided with Kam Chancellor during the first half. Iupati was taken to the hospital. The Cardinals announced during the fourth quarter that the lineman was released from the hospital and will fly back to Arizona with the team.
Arizona WR Michael Floyd injured his hamstring Sunday night and did not return.
- Browns defensive lineman Randy Starks (knee) did not return.
Wideout Andrew Hawkins did not return to the game with a concussion.
- Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis went to the locker room with a leg injury during the second quarter of the game against the Redskins. He did not return.
- Running back Bernard Pierce (Achilles) did not return to the Jaguars game against the Ravens.
Defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (elbow) and tight end Nic Jacobs (hamstring) both did not return.
- Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins (ankle) and cornerback Brice McCain (knee) both did not return to the game.
- Offensive guard Justin Pugh (illness) is inactive for the Giants.
- Titans wideout Justin Hunter was carted off the field with an undisclosed injury. His right leg was already in an air cast. Rapoport later reported that Hunter broke his ankle and is out for the season, per a source informed of the injury.
- Rams offensive guard Jamon Brown was carted off the field during the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury.
- Chiefs safety Tyvon Branch injured his foot on Sunday and did not return.
- Seahawks LB Bruce Irvin sprained his MCL during Seattle's loss to the Cardinals, according to Pete Carroll.
