Devonta Freeman suffers concussion in Falcons' loss

Atlanta's 24-21 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday wasn't the only bad news for the Falcons.

Devonta Freeman, the NFL's third-leading rusher, piled up 43 yards off three carries before leaving in the first half of Sunday's game with a concussion.

Freeman got off to a hot start before exiting, slashing through Indy's defense on a pretty 39-yard run on Atlanta's second drive.

In his absence, rookies Tevin Coleman and Terron Ward will handle backfield duties for a Falcons club hoping to snap a two-game losing streak.
