Calvin Johnson, Matt Prater expected to play for Lions

The Detroit Lions will have their biggest weapon as they attempt to sweep the Green Bay Packers for the first time since 1991.

NFL Media's Albert Breer reports that Calvin Johnson is expected to play in Thursday night's tussle, airing on CBS and NFL Network. Johnson was limited this week in practice with an ankle injury.

Megatron has come on strong since Jim Bob Cooter took over as offensive coordinator. Johnson has compiled 80-plus receiving yards in each of his last six games.

Breer adds that kicker Matt Prater (illness) is also expected to play. Both Megatron and Prater were listed as questionable.

Of bigger concern for the Lions is safety Glover Quin (ankle). Breer reports there is more doubt about the ball-hawking defensive back being able to play. Quin has started 95 straight games, the longest active streak among safeties.
