Defensive lineman Phil Taylor is going to the Mile High City.
The Denver Broncos announced on Monday that Taylor will be joining the team.
Taylor didn't play last season due to a knee injury. The former Browns first-round pick was cut by Cleveland during training camp last year.
In 2011, Taylor enjoyed his best season where he had 59 tackles and four sacks. However injuries have plagued his career since.
The addition of Taylor should serve as insurance if the Broncos lose Malik Jackson in free agency. Jackson's a more productive player, but Taylor's signing should be viewed as a low-risk and high-reward-type move.
