Every team in the NFL will do plenty of homework on the bevy of draft prospects coming out of Ohio State for the upcoming NFL draft, but give the Dallas Cowboys points for efficiency and practicality.
The Cowboys are holding private workouts with the best of the Buckeyes all at once.
There's no way to know which of them they're interested in most, but there's definitely no shortage.
NFL Media analysts Charles Davis and Daniel Jeremiah have said Ohio State could place as many as five players in the first round of the draft, along with several more in Round 2. Defensive end Joey Bosa, linebacker Darron Lee, running back Ezekiel Elliott, cornerback Eli Apple and left tackle Taylor Decker figure to be the first five off the board, but the likes of wide receivers Braxton Miller and Michael Thomas, safety Vonn Bell and linebacker Joshua Perry might not be far behind.
The Cowboys might have their pick of any Buckeye with their first-round pick, No. 4 overall, and NFL Media mock draft projections suggest they'll take one -- either Bosa or Elliott. When the Cowboys pick again at No. 34 overall, the pool of available Buckeyes will definitely have shrunk, but it won't be dry.
