Aqib Talib 'feels great,' plans to be ready for camp

Six weeks after being shot in the leg, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is walking with a slight limp, but plans to be ready for training camp later this month.

At teammate T.J. Ward's charity golf tournament on Monday, Talib told The Denver Post that he "feels great" and is "back running and everything." The corner added he "should be" ready by training camp.

Talib could start camp on the physically unable to perform list, but at this stage it appears he won't be hindered to start regular season.

The Dallas Police Department released an incident report earlier this month, which stated that an "unknown suspect" shot Talib. The DPD report also notes that one gram of marijuana was found by police, but no one was charged.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport previously reported that the NFL is investigating the shooting and Talib faces the possibility of league discipline.
