And then there was one.
The 49ers have signed first-round pick Joshua Garnett to a four-year deal, the team announced Friday. All 11 of San Francisco's 2016 draft picks are now under contract.
A 6-foot-5 guard out of Stanford and Outland Trophy recipient, Garnett was selected 28th overall by San Francisco. The pick was initially considered a reach by many analysts, which may explain why it took so long for a contract to be negotiated.
This marks the second piece of good news in a week on the 49ers offensive line. Previously-retired tackle Anthony Davis announced that he had applied for reinstatement after one season out of the game. Looks like San Francisco's starting quarterback -- whether it be Colin Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert -- will be better protected on the both ends of the line.
