Attention Broncos: Help is on the way.
While the offense may still be embroiled in a quarterback battle with no end in sight, one of the NFL's greatest pass rushers is returning to the field to aid the defense.
Per 9News in Denver, DeMarcus Warewill practice this week. He has not practiced with the team since the Super Bowl back in February because of nagging back issues.
While the news won't immediately translate to wins for the Broncos -- Ware will probably not make a preseason appearance and will spend the next two weeks making the slow climb to full practice participant -- the return of a valued veteran almost always helps the mood in the locker room. This is especially true for the Broncos, a team that is more aware of their defense's importance than ever. Ware adds the bookend to a unit that won the Super Bowl on its own and will have to be just as spectacular if Denver plans on returning to the playoffs in 2016.
Ware, who is right on the heels of Packers linebacker Julius Peppers for ninth all-time on the NFL's sack list, seems to have plenty left in the tank and plenty to strive for in Denver.
