Bills cut Glenn Gronkowski, re-sign Jerome Felton

The Buffalo Bills are making a swap at fullback.

The team confirmed they've cut Glenn Gronkowski and re-signed Jerome Felton.

Gronk, the younger brother of Patriots star tight end Rob, as well as Dan Gronkowski and Chris Gronkowski, signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent. Glenn Gronkowski made the Bills' initial roster over Felton but lasted just one game.

Baby Gronk played just eight total snaps in the Buffalo's Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Felton's return will upgrade the blocking from the fullback position in Greg Roman's power offense ahead of the Bills' Thursday night tussle with the New York Jets.

The move to cut then veteran then re-sign him after Week 1 means Felton's contract isn't guaranteed, as it would have been had he made the initial roster.
