After the game, Pierre-Paul told NJ.com he'll have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
"It's just pulled," Pierre-Paul said. "Not too many details that I know. I'll know tomorrow for sure."
Here are the other injuries we are tracking Sunday:
- Star safety Earl Thomas left the Seahawks' game against the Panthers on a cart after taking a hard hit from his teammate when he went up to try to intercept a Cam Newton pass. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported per sources Thomas suffered a broken bone in his leg. NBC's Michele Tafoya reported, per coach Pete Carroll, Thomas suffered a cracked tibia. He's out indefinitely, Rapoport added.
Thomas tweeted shortly after the injury:
- Jake Matthews did not return to the contest after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter. The game was tied at 13 when the Falcons offensive lineman made his early exit. He was later seen going to the locker room.
- Eagles wideout Dorial Green-Beckham (rib) went in for X-rays and did not return.
- Bucs tight end Luke Stocker suffered an ankle injury and did not return. Receiver Cecil Shorts suffered a knee injury and also did not return.
- Steelers defensive lineman Javon Hargrave was evaluated for a possible concussion and did not return.
- Panthers defensive back Daryl Worley is in concussion protocol, the team announced.
