It takes a lot to stand out on draft night. Gone are the days when a ridiculous suit or an empty hand gesture will put you on the evening news. You need something more ... something authentic ... something that connects with the people. What you need ... is a tiny human.
That's Utah tackle Garett Bolles, new of the Denver Broncos, who was interviewed by Deion Sanders in front of 70,000 Philadelphians and millions more watching at home while holding Kingston, his 4-month-old son.
"I couldn't be here without him," Bolles told Prime. "He's been the best thing to happen to me in the last four months and this is the second-best."
I hope this starts a trend. Just keep rolling out company -- wives, brothers, ex-girlfriends, landlords, unemployed cousins, dogs, cats, goldfish. Football is family, right?
