Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters grew up in Oakland and is glad to see Marshawn Lynch return to his hometown to try and win a Super Bowl.
"For 'Shawn to finish off this last little stretch of his career here at home, that's dope," Peters said Saturday at a Fam 1st Foundation Football Camp, via Jimmy Durkin of the Bay Area News Group.
The positive vibes end there.
"It's going to feel good for him," Peters said of Lynch's homecoming. "It's going to be a good feeling. It's going to be a good feeling for Oakland. But when we come here, we're going to beat the dog [expletive] out of him."
The Chiefs beat the Raiders twice in 2016, with Peters' defensive crew holding Oakland's offense to 13 points or fewer in each contest. In two years, Peters has never lost to the Raiders and picked off Derek Carr twice in four games.
