Reuben Foster suffered more than just an ACL injury that cost him his 2019 season.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that the Washington Redskins linebacker suffered an LCL injury along with the ACL tear in his left knee.
According to Rapoport, Foster is already raising his leg after undergoing successful surgery from Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday and is expected to be ready for the 2020 season.
Foster suffered the knee injury during the Redskins' first OTA practice on May 20, going to the ground and writhing in pain after tearing both ligaments.
The additional injury to the LCL offers an added challenge to the linebacker who has already missed 16 games in his first two seasons due to injury and off-field issues.
