NFL fantasy football: Week 12 waiver wire
Need to improve your fantasy football roster? NFL.com has you covered! Each week, we'll offer up the 10 players you need to target off the waiver wire in that never-ending quest for a fantasy league championship. The number listed in parenthesis next to the player's name is the percentage of NFL.com leagues that he is still available as a free agent.

The potential return of Darren McFadden looms, but Reece needs to be owned in all leagues until the incumbent starter is back. He's been a serious stat sheet stuffer, posting double-digit fantasy points in three consecutive games, including a huge yardage performance against the New Orleans Saints. With Willis McGahee out six to eight weeks, Hillman is now the top runner on the Broncos depth chart. He won't be a true featured back, as Lance Ball will also see some burn for coach John Fox, but Hillman is the runner to own. He'll have flex-starter value in most leagues moving forward.

The Jaguars have a pair of wideouts to target off the waiver wire -- Shorts and Justin Blackmon (50 percent). Shorts posted 14.10 fantasy points in Week 11 and has now scored double digits in four of his last five games. Blackmon is coming off a career game with 237 yards and one score in Week 11. Alexander has now posted two huge stat lines in a row, going for 19-plus fantasy points in games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos. In fact, he's outscored Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd in both contests. With the trust of Philip Rivers, Alexander is someone to add. (Nick Lucero/NFL)

LeSean McCoy suffered an unfortunate concussion in a loss to the Washington Redskins, so his status for Week 12 is a question mark. That makes Brown, the No. 2 running back on the Eagles' depth chart, a must-add if you have McCoy or need a flex option. The Eagles face the Carolina Panthers next. Myers has quietly turned into one of the better tight ends in fantasy football, scoring double-digit points and at least one touchdown in two of his last three games. With the tight end position at such an inconsistent state, Myers is now a legitimate No. 1 option at his position in all formats. (Greg Trott/Associated Press)

The Cardinals don't have a true No. 1 running back, so Wells should re-claim the top spot on the depth chart once he's eligible to return this weekend. While he does have some tough matchups ahead, the Ohio State product is still well worth a roster spot in most fantasy leagues right now. (Joe Howell/Associated Press)

Hilton is coming off a huge performance against the New England Patriots with 100 yards and two scores. He's also posted 100 or more yards and at least one touchdown in two of his last three games. With Donnie Avery injured and a date with the Buffalo Bills next, Hilton could be a real asset in fantasy. (Tom DiPace/Associated Press)

So much for the Rashad Jennings era in Jacksonville. Parmele dominated the backfield touches against the Houston Texans, rushing the ball 27 times to Jennings' three. While he isn't a lock as a viable flex option, Parmele does warrant a roster spot until Maurice Jones-Drew returns. (Stephen Morton/Associated Press)

Henne isn't a must-start fantasy quarterback, but he's coming off a 354-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Houston Texans. Next on the schedule is a date with the Tennessee Titans, who field one of the league's worst defenses. That makes Henne a potential matchup-based option. (Dave Einsel/Associated Press)
