If there were any questions about who would take over as the Broncos' top running back in the absence of Montee Ball, well, it looks like Hillman is the answer. He carried the football 24 times and had 27 touches against the New York Jets, recording 116 yards in a 31-17 win. While an upcoming matchup against the San Francisco 49ers isn't very favorable, Hillman does need to be owned in all leagues while Ball is out.

Sanu went off in the absence of an injured A.J. Green in Week 6, posting 11 catches for 120 yards with one touchdown and 18 fantasy points against the Carolina Panthers. The Rutgers product has now scored a touchdown in three of his last four games and has scored no fewer than 9.12 fantasy points in those contests. Regardless of when Green is expected to return, Sanu now needs to be added as a potential fantasy starter.

McKinnon didn't do a whole lot in the stat sheets in Week 6, posting just 82 scrimmage yards in a loss to the Detroit Lions. However, his touch number (17) was impressive. In fact, he saw 16 more touches than Matt Asiata. That makes one wonder if in fact the Vikings plan to use McKinnon in more of a featured role than in the past. Regardless, this electric rookie will be a popular waiver-wire target heading into Week 7.

Palmer, who had missed time with a nerve issue in his shoulder, returned to the gridiron in Week 6 and performed well. He threw for 250 yards with two touchdowns and scored a solid 17.70 fantasy points in a win over the Washington Redskins, showing no ill effects from his previous ailment. With a favorable matchup against the Raiders up next on the schedule, Palmer will be in a position to produce solid totals again.

Welcome to fantasy relevance, Mr. Holmes! He's posted solid totals in recent weeks, culminating in a 121-yard, two-touchdown performance against the San Diego Chargers. Holmes, who has now scored a combined 37.50 fantasy points in his last two games, is one of the two favorite options in the passing game for rookie quarterback Derek Carr. He's a high-ceiling performer who should be on everyone's radar right now.

Floyd has been prone to injuries during his career, but it's tough to ignore the numbers he's producing this year. In five games, his lowest fantasy point total is 7.20 ... that's not bad at all. Furthermore, he's scored 9.80 or more points four times including a 16.30-point performance in a win over the Raiders. Floyd has been far better than his teammate and current fantasy football disappointment, Keenan Allen.

Two or three times, well that can be defined as a fluke. But when you make good on one long touchdown run or catch in five of your first six games, well, that's a real trend. And with his 41-yard touchdown catch against the Chicago Bears in Week 6, well, Smith has now scored double-digit fantasy points in three straight games and four of his first six contests. He's been the best fantasy runner for Atlanta, period.

Shorts had a huge game for PPR leaguers in Week 6, catching 10 passes for 103 yards against the Tennessee Titans. He also started ahead of Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns and appears to have re-emerged into one of Jacksonville's best options in the passing game. For as long as he can stay on the gridiron and out of the trainer's room, Shorts will be worth a look as a back-of-your-roster reserve wideout and matchup starter.

Bolden has done next to nothing in the stat sheets this season, but he's now worth a speculative add in the wake of Stevan Ridley's knee injury. That's because an increase in touches should be projected for the Mississippi product moving forward, and those opportunities are huge in the world of fantasy football. Nothing is predictable in coach Bill Belichick's enigmatic backfield, but I like Bolden over James White.

Johnson isn't going to light the fantasy world on fire, but he did lead the Jaguars in backfield carries in Week 6 with Toby Gerhart out of action. On a positive note, the seventh-rounder did score a touchdown on a 1-yard run (even if he did score just 7.70 fantasy points). If he continues to start for Jacksonville, Johnson is at least worth a roster spot in most leagues. He has a good matchup against Cleveland up next.
