Colleges with the most Pro Football Hall of Famers
Notre Dame (with two enshrinees) and USC (with one) will add to impressive lists of contributions to the Pro Football Hall of Fame when the 2015 class is inducted Saturday. Counting players, coaches and contributors that come from schools (and in some instances, said enshrinee attended multiple schools), Notre Dame and USC pace other colleges in presenting the best lineup of Pro Football Hall of Famers.
However, what are the chances another college could catch them? Well, we also take a look at possible future Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinees from the schools mentioned below, gauging each program's chances to add to already extraordinary Hall of Fame tallies.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Bob (Boomer) Brown, Guy Chamberlin, William Roy (Link) Lyman, Will Shields, Mick Tingelhoff
Most recent enshrinees: Shields and Tingelhoff (2015)
Possible future enshrinees: Roger Craig, Ndamukong Suh
The skinny: With Shields and Tingelhoff getting enshrined into Canton this year, Nebraska is thrust into a four-way tie with Arizona State, SMU and UCLA with five Pro Football Hall of Famers apiece. While Suh seems to be trending toward a Canton-worthy career, Craig made a strong case for inclusion after winning three Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers and becoming the first player in NFL history to rush and receive for 1,000-plus yards in a single season.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Bobby Bell, Carl Eller, Bud Grant, Bronko Nagurski, Leo Nomellini, Charlie Sanders
Most recent enshrinee: Sanders (2007)
Possible future enshrinee: Tony Dungy
The skinny: Golden Gophers legend Nagurski was among the 17 charter members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963. Before being a part of the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl IV-winning team, Bell helped Minnesota win its last national championship in football in 1960.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Ted Hendricks, Michael Irvin, Jim Kelly, Cortez Kennedy, Jim Otto, Warren Sapp
Most recent enshrinee: Sapp (2013)
Possible future enshrinees: Andre Johnson, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Reggie Wayne
The skinny: Miami is a strong candidate to move up this list in the upcoming years. Lewis and Reed are sure-fire Hall of Famers. The depth of wide receiver hopefuls could make it difficult for Johnson and Wayne to some day be included in the Hall.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Dick Butkus, Harold (Red) Grange, George Halas, Bobby Mitchell, Ray Nitschke, Hugh (Shorty) Ray
Most recent enshrinee: Mitchell (1983)
Possible future enshrinees: None
The skinny: Illinois football has fallen on hard times (the school has been shut out of the NFL draft the previous two years), and the school's chances to add to its Hall of Fame haul are gloomy at the moment. Still, its throwback roster of enshrinees is quite profound, boasting a league founder (Halas), the league's original breakthrough star (Grange), and two iconic linebackers (Butkus and Nitschke).

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Jim Brown, Larry Csonka, Al Davis, Floyd Little, John Mackey, Art Monk, Jim Ringo
Most recent enshrinee: Little (2010)
Possible future enshrinee: Marvin Harrison
The skinny: Brown is one of the greatest athletes this nation has ever produced. He's a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, College Football Hall of Fame and Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Little and Csonka followed Brown in Syracuse's backfield. Mackey was the second pure tight end inducted into Canton, following Mike Ditka.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: John Hannah, Don Hutson, Joe Namath, Ozzie Newsome, Bart Starr, Dwight Stephenson, Derrick Thomas
Most recent enshrinee: Thomas (2009)
Possible future enshrinee: Ken Stabler (Seniors Committee)
The skinny: Alabama owns a striking Pro Football Hall of Fame roster, complete with all-time greats at their respective positions (most notably Hannah and Newsome), the chieftain of the greatest upset in league history (Namath), and a five-time NFL champion as field general for Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers (Starr).

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Mike Ditka, Chris Doleman, Tony Dorsett, Russ Grimm, Rickey Jackson, Dan Marino, Curtis Martin, Joe Schmidt
Most recent enshrinees: Doleman and Martin (2012)
Possible future enshrinees: Larry Fitzgerald, Darrelle Revis
The skinny: Despite a recent downturn on the field for the once-proud Pitt football program, the school has two bona fide future Hall of Fame candidates currently in the NFL. Dorsett was a member of the last Pitt team to claim the national football championship, doing so in 1976.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: George Allen, Dan Dierdorf, Len Ford, Benny Friedman, Bill Hewitt, Elroy (Crazylegs) Hirsch, Tom Mack, Ralph Wilson, Jr.
Most recent enshrinee: Wilson (2009)
Possible future enshrinees: Tom Brady, Steve Hutchinson, Ty Law, Charles Woodson
The skinny: Like Miami (Fla.), Michigan is in a good position to move up this list in a few years. Brady, Hutchinson and Woodson each figure to be first-ballot Hall of Famers. Digging deep into the past, it's worth noting that Friedman played against Red Grange in 1924; it was the opening game of Illinois' Memorial Stadium and the breakthrough four-touchdown performance made "The Galloping Ghost" a national star. Hirsch initially played for Wisconsin, but his Navy commitment required he transfer to Michigan.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Cris Carter, Sid Gillman, Lou Groza, Dante Lavelli, Dick LeBeau, Jim Parker, Ed Sabol, Paul Warfield, Bill Willis
Most recent enshrinee: Carter (2013)
Possible future enshrinees: Randy Gradishar (Seniors Committee), Orlando Pace
The skinny: Ohio State is among four Big Ten schools to crack this top-10 list, displaying how the conference's everlasting tradition of producing football talent dates back to the game's infancy. Before founding the powerhouse PR vehicle that is NFL Films, Sabol was a world-class swimmer at Ohio State. Gillman was one of the game's great innovators, placing a huge emphasis on the vertical passing game fans so thoroughly enjoy today. Groza, Lavelli and Willis were all members of the Cleveland Browns when the team dominated pro football in the late 1940s and well into the 1950s.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Marcus Allen, Morris (Red) Badgro, Frank Gifford, Ronnie Lott, Bruce Matthews, Ron Mix, Anthony Munoz, Junior Seau, O.J. Simpson, Lynn Swann, Willie Wood, Ron Yary
Most recent enshrinee: Seau (2015)
Possible future enshrinees: Clay Matthews (father and/or son), Troy Polamalu
The skinny: Seau is USC's first Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee since Bruce Matthews was enshrined in 2007. Badgro was a three-sport star for the Trojans -- lettering in football, baseball and basketball -- and played two seasons for Major League Baseball's St. Louis Browns. He's one of seven members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame to also play in the major leagues (the others: "Paddy" Driscoll, George Halas, Ernie Nevers, "Ace" Parker, Deion Sanders and Jim Thorpe). Many would suggest that Clay Matthews Jr. -- who played 19 seasons at linebacker in the NFL -- belongs in Canton, but Polamalu likely will be the next Trojan enshrined.

Pro Football Hall of Famers: Jerome Bettis, Tim Brown, Nick Buoniconti, Dave Casper, George Connor, Paul Hornung, Earl (Curly) Lambeau, John (Blood) McNally, Wayne Millner, Joe Montana, Alan Page, George Trafton
Most recent enshrinees: Bettis and Brown (2015)
Possible future enshrinee: Bob Kuechenberg (Seniors Committee)
The skinny: A two-inductee haul for the Irish this year ties the program with USC for the most Pro Football Hall of Famers. Brown won the Heisman Trophy in 1987, becoming the first wide receiver to win the award (he is also the last Notre Dame player to win the Heisman). Lambeau -- who played under legendary coach Knute Rockne at Notre Dame -- used the famous "Notre Dame Box" offense to guide the Packers to three consecutive NFL championships from 1929-1931.
