Some were expecting a breakout season from Williams this year, as he could truly emerge as a No. 2 option running alongside Dez Bryant. However, now that Bryant is out with a broken bone in his foot for at least four to six weeks, Williams will need to rise up even further as the team's top pass-catcher. Whether or not he succeeds remains to be seen, but he just became the hottest name on the waiver wire for Week 2, as his target volume in the passing game is sure to rise.

With T.Y. Hilton possibly missing some time with a knee injury, Moncrief seems the likeliest candidate to assume a bigger role in the passing attack alongside Andre Johnson. He had six catches for 46 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and played on 74 percent of the team's offensive snaps. We loved his size-speed upside last year, but faded him a bit with the drafting of Phillip Dorsett. However, if you're going to scoop one of these talented young wideouts in fantasy this week, make it Moncrief. There's a chance he could even push for more of Johnson's snaps once Hilton comes back healthy, too.

We pounded the table for you to draft Johnson all offseason, and those of you who listened were rewarded with a solid Week 1 outing, hauling in all six of his targets for 82 yards and a touchdown. He clearly has a role in this offense and a rapport with Rivers. He's available in almost every league on NFL.com and that's a crime against fantasy. Change that on the waivers in your league immediately.

It was just like the good old days for James Jones and Aaron Rodgers, who were hooking up on passes in Chicago like it was 2011. Rodgers showed great trust in Jones in their first game action since 2013, especially in the red zone. All told, Jones had four catches on four targets for 51 yards and two touchdowns, and he played the second most snaps of any Green Bay WR (Davante Adams had the most). Given the high-flying nature of the Packers passing attack, he's now a must-own asset in all fantasy formats.

I loved Eifert as a breakout candidate this year, and he delivered in a big way in Week 1 with nine catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders. They looked his way at a lot in the red zone, and appears to be primed to be a week-to-week mismatch against linebackers and safeties. His ownership possession is crazy low, so make sure to add him to your roster ASAP before Week 2.

If you've read my work all offseason, you know how much I loved David Cobb. However, with him landing on the IR boomerang, Sankey had a chance to reassert himself as the team's starter after a lackluster rookie season. And he did just that on Sunday, finding the end zone twice while running hard. Most of his big runs did come from huge holes, but he showed some of the fight the coaches wanted to see from him. Given that he's only owned in 56.1 percent of NFL.com leagues, he's worth an add if you can swing it.

After a rash of offseason injuries hit the Washington tight end corps, Reed was boosted up to the No. 1 spot by default, and performed well in that role in Week 1, hauling in seven of his 11 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown. Of course, injuries are always a concern with Reed, but considering how volatile the tight end positions is this year in fantasy, any one garnering 11 targets in a game needs to be owned. Scoop him up if possible.

For some reason, the hate had gone a little too far on the diminutive Woodhead, who has been an integral part of the Chargers offense for years. He reminded the football world of that fact emphatically on Sunday afternoon, scoring two touchdowns and racking up 62 total yards. He is a must-add in PPR formats and can be a decent flex option in standard leagues as well, as he will get touches every week. It might just be hard to rely on the touchdowns being as frequent.

With Mike Evans sidelined with a hamstring injury, ASJ helped pick up the slack for the Buccaneers offense, catching five of his seven targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Granted, most of this production came in garbage time, but as we like to say around here, garbage points still count, too. Given Evan's injury, and Jameis Winston showing eyes for his talented tight end, ASJ is worth an add considering he plays at a position with a lot of question marks this season.

In the battle of the first two overall picks from the 2015 NFL Draft, Mariota was the one who shined. By the time the half-time whistle sounded, Mariota had four touchdown passes and 175 passing yards. He'd finish the day with 24.96 fantasy points after handily carving up the Buccaneers secondary all afternoon. He has two nice matchups coming up against the Browns and Colts where he would have fringe QB1 upside, before a dicey matchup against the Bills. If you're hurting at quarterback or are streaming at the position, look to lock up Mariota immediately.

The hype surrounding the Chiefs offense from the preseason is real, and Alex Smith was a huge reason why. He made smart decisions and good throws to his talented trio of superstars -- Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce, Jeremy Maclin -- en route to racking up 243 yards and three touchdowns. He has a tough matchup next week when the Broncos come to town, but he can be stashed for plus-matchups or streamed in upcoming weeks where the matchup is more favorable (Week 3 at GB, Week 5 vs. CHI).
