What's at stake? Alabama can clinch the SEC West and get a step closer to the College Football Playoff, while Auburn looks to play the spoiler role at home. In the Iron Bowl, the underdog often puts up quite a fight, as Auburn did at home in 2009, and as Alabama did in 2010.

What's at stake? FSU will be playing for state pride in a rivalry game that has been known to foster its share of ill will. This is always among the most physical games of rivalry week. UF has a bit more to play for, as the Gators are two very difficult wins away from a possible playoff berth (FSU and, likely, Alabama in the SEC title game).

Details: TCU ends Baylor's playoff hopes in double overtime
What's at stake? Remember when the season began and conventional wisdom tabbed this as the game of the year in the Big 12? With three losses between them now, it's not that any longer. But Baylor's chances of winning a Big 12 title are riding on this game, even if a one-loss Bears team could be shut out of the playoff again.

What's at stake? The Big Ten's most classic rivalry has plenty of spice this year, even with Ohio State likely bowing out of the playoff hunt with its loss to Michigan State. There is Jim Harbaugh's debut as a coach in the series to add intrigue, not to mention whether OSU's offense can get off the mat against a stingy defense.
Matchup to watch: Ohio State WR Braxton Miller vs. Michigan DB Jabrill Peppers.
Game picks:
Brandt: Ohio State, 20-17

What's at stake? The Sooners have climbed back into the playoff race with back-to-back wins over Baylor and TCU. Another win here would give the Sooners an impressive case for the CFP selection committee. Meanwhile, the Cowboys look to rebound from a loss to Baylor.

Brooks: Oklahoma, 24-21

What's at stake? The Cardinal can spoil Notre Dame's hopes for a playoff berth here. A couple of weeks ago, this game looked like it might be a CFP play-in game, but Stanford has since lost to Oregon and fallen out of the hunt. Given that the Fighting Irish have no conference title game to compete in, this is the team's last chance to make a big impression on the selection committee.

Brandt: Stanford, 35-28
