Chicago Bears new 1936 classic uniforms
On Friday, the Chicago Bears unveiled a new classic uniform during their Bears100 Celebration Weekend that they will wear in the upcoming season. The uniform is a recreation of one the Bears wore in the 1936 season when they ended with a 9-3 record. It features a white jersey with navy and orange stripes on the shoulders and sleeves, the Bears100 patch, navy pants and navy and orange striped socks. The helmet will also be navy with three orange stripes. This jersey will replace the 1940s jersey the Bears wore twice this past season.
The Bears will wear the new uniform twice this season: Sunday, Sept. 29 against the Minnesota Vikings and on Thursday, Dec. 5 against the Cowboys. Both are home games in Chicago.
