The 1924 Pittsburgh Lyceum Football Team. In the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph is Art Rooney. Rooney organized, operated western Pennsylvania semi-pro grid teams before 1933 when he purchased the Pittsburgh NFL franchise naming them the Pirates, which later beacme the Pittsburgh Steelers.
