Wide receiver Terrell Owens’ Hall of Fame career was often overshadowed by ego-driven behavior and outrageous antics. Known as T.O, Owens was a third round pick of San Francisco in 1996 who went on to make six Pro Bowls and lead the NFL in receiving touchdowns three times. Owens, who loved attention and never met a microphone he didn’t like, celebrated touchdowns in creative and over-the-top fashion: by removing a Sharpie from his sock and autographing the ball; by grabbing pompoms from a cheerleader and dancing; by taking popcorn from a fan and pouring it, through his helmet, into his mouth. In 2005, after getting suspended by Eagles coach Andy Reid following a shouting match between the two, Owens conducted a press conference in front of his house while shirtless and doing sit-ups. Later that season, he was suspended for getting into a fight with a teammate in the locker room. Owens, who once cried during a press conference while defending Tony Romo ("That's my quarterback, he told reporters), wound up playing for five teams over 15 seasons in the NFL, finishing top 3 all-time in receiving yards (15,934) and TD receptions (153).
