Brett Favre
Brett Favre was a Hall of Fame quarterback who won three MVPs, made 11 Pro Bowls, and led the historic Packers’ franchise to its first Super Bowl title in nearly three decades. A flamethrower known for his creativity and extreme risk-taking, Favre played 20 seasons in the NFL and retired in 2010 as the league’s all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns. While often reckless with his throws – Favre is the all-time NFL leader in interceptions, with 336 – his improvisational style and upbeat attitude brought fun to professional football. And Favre was tough and durable, playing in a remarkable 297 straight games. A Mississippi native, Favre was a second round pick of the Falcons in 1991, but was traded to the Packers a year later. During his career, he won 186 games, tied for the 2nd most ever by a QB with Peyton Manning.
