Odell Beckham Jr.
At the outset of their careers, few players in NFL history have been as statistically successful and entertaining to watch as Odell Beckham, Jr. A New Orleans native who played collegiately at LSU, Beckham was the 12th overall pick of the Giants in the 2014 NFL Draft and missed the first four games of his rookie season due to injury. Then, he dominated, leading the NFL with over 108 receiving yards per game and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. That season, he made an impossible one-handed catch against the Cowboys that has been considered one of the greatest receptions ever. In each of his first three NFL seasons, the 5-foot-11, 198-pound Beckham had over 1,300 yards receiving and made the Pro Bowl. Beckham caught 300 passes and reached 5,000 receiving yards quicker than any player since the 1970 merger and is massively popular off the field; Beckham’s over 13 million Instagram followers are most in the NFL – by a wide margin. In March 2019, Beckham was traded to the Browns, for whom he now plays.
