The 1995 AFC Championship Game between the Steelers and the Colts was a nail-biting, back-and-forth battle in which neither team ever led by more than four points. It took place on a Sunday afternoon at Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers Stadium; the Steelers entered the game as 11-point favorites. Pittsburgh led 10-6 at halftime but lost the lead in the fourth quarter on a 47-yard touchdown pass from the Colts’ Jim Harbaugh to wideout Floyd Turner. Down 16-13 with under three minutes left, the Steelers, led by quarterback Neil O’Donnell, marched down the field on a 67-yard drive capped by a 1-yard TD run by Bam Morris. Harbaugh and the Colts came right back, driving more than 50 yards before a last-second Hail Mary was juggled in the end zone by Steelers and Colts players before the ball ultimately hit the ground and fell incomplete. The final score: 20-16 Steelers. Pittsburgh lost to Dallas in Super Bowl XXX, 27-17.
