Chicago Bears
The 1941 Chicago Bears won 10 of their 11 regular season games and easily beat the Packers and Giants in the postseason to win a second straight NFL Championship. The Bears, who scored a league-best 36 points per game and gave up 13.4 on average, had several All-Pro players in their 20s across the field. The T-formation was led by future Hall of Fame QB Sid Luckman, who led the NFL in passer rating (95.3) and completion percentage (57.1) while Hall of Fame halfback and defensive back George McAfee led the team with 12 total TDs and six interceptions. Chicago won games by scores of 53-7, 49-0, and 49-14 during the regular season, with their only loss coming at home against Green Bay by 16-14. In the Divisional Round of the playoffs, the Bears avenged their loss to the Packers by beating them, 33-14. In the NFL Championship against the Giants, Luckman threw for 160 yards, and rookie fullback Norm Standlee ran for two TDs as the Bears won, 37-9.
