The Reese's Senior Bowl released its rosters Wednesday, but there will be a few additions, including one more quarterback.
The North team has three signal-callers, all from the ACC: Clemson's Tajh Boyd, Miami's Stephen Morris and Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas. But the South team has just two, both from the Mountain West: Fresno State's Derek Carr and San Jose State's David Fales. Speculation for the third quarterback for the South has centered on Eastern Illinois' Jimmy Garoppolo, the FCS player of the year, who is preparing for the East-West Shrine Game.
Among the big names who will participate in the Senior Bowl are Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard, Minnesota defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman, Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde and Notre Dame offensive tackle Zack Martin. Among those who will not participate are UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr, Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack, Alabama QB AJ McCarron and Texas A&M offensive tackle Jake Matthews.
The Senior Bowl is one of football's premier pre-draft events, annually featuring the country's best senior collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects. NFL Network coverage includes practices and continues with the game, which will be held Jan. 25.
Here are the rosters. Of note: Position is what is listed on the game-week roster, not necessarily the player's college position.
