Here are 10 statistics that defined the 2016 Tennessee Titans:
Stat #1
The Titans performed better against winning teams in 2016. Tennessee went 6-2 against teams with winning records and 3-5 against teams with a win percentage of .500 or below.

The Titans finished third in rushing, gaining 136.7 rush yards per game.
Stat #3

Tennessee finished third in third-down efficiency, converting 46.1 percent of the time for first downs.
Stat #5
The Titans led the NFL in red zone offense, scoring a TD on 72.0 percent of red zone trips.
Stat #6
Marcus Mariota had 18 pass TDs and 0 INTs in the red zone. Mariota's 113.5 red zone passer rating ranked 4th in the NFL.
Stat #7
DeMarco Murray was one of four players with 1,600+ scrimmage yards and 12+ scrimmage TDs in 2016. The other three players to do so were David Johnson, Ezekiel Elliott and LeSean McCoy.
Stat #8
Rishard Matthews had nine receiving TDs this season, the most by a Titans player since Kenny Britt had the same amount in 2010.
Stat #9
The Titans ranked second in run defense in 2016, allowing only 88.3 rush yards per game.
Stat #10
Tennessee finished 30th in pass defense, allowing 269.2 pass yards per game.
