2024 NFL Season, Week 1: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 1 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Jonah Williams (knee) was ruled out against the Bills.
  • Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson (forearm) was ruled out against the Cardinals. Running back Ty Johnson (knee) did not return.
  • Houston Texans cornerback Jeff Okudah (hip) was ruled out against the Colts.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring) did not return against the Dolphins.
  • Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Tyree Wilson (knee) was ruled out against the Chargers.
  • Miami Dolphins linebacker David Long (hand) did not return against the Jaguars.
  • Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison (ankle) was ruled out against the Giants. Addison will undergo more tests Monday, but he is not believe to have suffered a major injury, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
  • New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is questionable to return against the Panthers.
  • New York Giants wide receiver Gunner Olszewski suffered a groin injury in warmups and was ruled out against the Vikings.
  • Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle George Fant (knee) was ruled out against the Broncos.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerbacks Zyon McCollum (concussion) and Josh Hayes (ankle) were ruled out against the Commanders. Cornerback Bryce Hall was carted off in the third quarter and subsequently ruled out.
