Notable injuries, news from Sunday's Week 16 games: Bears LT Braxton Jones (ankle) carted off vs. Lions; Sauce Gardner hurt in Jets' loss

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 16 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (knee) did not return against the Panthers after exiting in the second half. Right tackle Jonah Williams exited with a knee injury. Safety Joey Blount (ribs) was ruled out.
  • Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hamstring) did not return against the Giants after exiting in the fourth quarter.
  • Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered a right elbow contusion in the fourth quarter against the Patriots but did not miss any game action. Allen got up favoring his right hand after falling on a run attempt, and then he had the ball slip out of his hand on a deep pass attempt on the following play. Allen told reporters after the game that he briefly lost some feeling in his hand but it quickly returned.
  • Chicago Bears left tackle Braxton Jones was ruled out with ankle injury after getting carted off the field in the second quarter against the Lions. Guard Teven Jenkins (calf) did not return.
  • Cincinnati Bengals right tackle Amarius Mims (ankle) did not return against the Browns.
  • Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert (finger) did not return against the Buccaneers.
  • Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones (throat) was ruled out against the Titans.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars tackle Walker Little (ankle) was ruled out against the Raiders. Offensive lineman Anton Harrison (shoulder) was ruled out. Linebacker Ventrell Miller (ankle) did not to return.
  • Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Calais Campbell might be released if the Dolphins fall out of playoff contention, giving the 38-year-old veteran the option to land with a playoff-bound team, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on NFL GameDay Morning. Cornerback Kendall Fuller (knee) was ruled out against the 49ers. Linebacker Jordyn Brooks (knee) did not to return.
  • New York Giants linebacker Micah McFadden (neck) and safety Jason Pinnock (eye) exited early against the Falcons.
  • New York Jets offensive tackle Olumuyiwa Fashanu (foot) was ruled out against the Rams after a second-half exit. Cornerback Sauce Gardner (hamstring) and safety Tony Adams (ankle) did not return versus the Rams.
  • Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was ruled out with a concussion suffered midway through the first quarter against the Commanders. Running back Will Shipley was also ruled out with a concussion. Pass rusher Josh Sweat (ankle) did not return. Safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson was ejected from the game in the second half after picking up a second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) has a "real chance" at playing on Christmas Day against the Chiefs, head coach Mike Tomlin said Sunday. Pickens has missed the past three games.
  • San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Leonard Floyd (shoulder) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (calf) did not return against the Dolphins.
  • Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) did not return after exiting in the fourth quarter.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) was ruled out against the Cowboys.
  • Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Dillon Radunz (shoulder) was ruled out against the Colts. Linebacker Kenneth Murray (wrist) exited early.
  • Washington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) and offensive tackle Andrew Wylie (groin) did not return against Philadelphia.
