2024 NFL Season, Week 5: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 5 Sunday:

  • Carolina Panthers outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder) is questionable to return versus the Bears.
  • Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dax Hill (right knee) has been ruled out versus the Ravens.
  • Cleveland Browns safety Rodney McLeod (face laceration) is questionable to return versus the Commanders.
  • Houston Texans running back British Brooks (knee) is questionable to return versus the Bills. Wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is questionable
  • Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane was ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion versus the Patriots.
  • Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (hip) was ruled out against the Jets. Jones exited the game in the first quarter.
  • New York Jets cornerback Michael Carter II (hamstring) didn't to return against Minnesota. Cornerback Sauce Gardner was evaluated for a head injury but returned in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers told reporters after the game that he's dealing with a low ankle sprain.
