2024 NFL Season, Week 9: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 9 Sunday:

  • Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hip) and defensive lineman Grady Jarrett (Achilles strain) were ruled out versus the Cowboys.
  • Buffalo Bills defensive end Casey Toohill (knee) exited early against the Dolphins.
  • Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams said after Sunday's loss that he tweaked his ankle, but was OK. Offensive lineman Darnell Wright is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL and will undergo an MRI on Monday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Defensive lineman Andrew Billings (chest) was ruled out against the Cardinals, while defensive backs Jaylon Jones (shoulder) and Terell Smith (ankle) left and did not return.
  • Cincinnati Bengals tight end Erick All Jr. (right knee) is feared to have torn his ACL, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (rib) was ruled out versus the Raiders.
  • Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) was ruled out versus the Falcons.
  • Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch was ejected from the game in Green Bay following a hit on Packers wide receiver Bo Melton. Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin (shoulder) did not return.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars right tackle Anton Harrison (knee) did not return against the Eagles.
  • Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello were fired following a 2-7 start to the season, the team announced Sunday night. Offensive tackle Kolton Miller (ankle) was ruled out against the Bengals. Cornerback Nate Hobbs (ankle), tight end Harrison Bryant (ankle) and guards Andrus Peat (ankle) and Cody Whitehair (ankle) did not return.
  • Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Junior Colson (ankle) was ruled out versus the Browns. Wide receiver Simi Fehoko (elbow) did not return.
  • Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was ejected from the game in Seattle after he threw a punch at Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson. Offensive lineman Rob Havenstein (ankle) and cornerback Josh Wallace (leg) did not return.
  • Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold (calf) exited early against the Bills.
  • Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichardtold reporters that he is set to undergo an MRI after dealing with issues in his right quad against the Colts.
  • New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) was ruled out and carted off the field after taking a hit by Panthers safety Xavier Woods. Olave went to and was discharged from the hospital and will fly back with the team. Wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (shoulder) and left guard Lucas Patrick (calf) did not return.
  • Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) was ruled out against the Jaguars.
  • Seattle Seahawks safety K’Von Wallace was ruled out versus the Rams. Offensive tackle George Fant (knee) did not return.
  • Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry suffered a torn Achilles versus the Patriots and will miss the remainder of the season, per Rapoport. Safety Quandre Diggs (foot) was ruled out versus the Patriots.
