The Green Bay Packers have agreed to a contract with Ben McAdoo that will make him their new quarterbacks coach, a league source said Wednesday.

McAdoo previously had been the Packers' tight end coach, a position he had held for the past six seasons.
League sources said Tuesday that the Packersblocked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from interviewing McAdoo for their vacant offensive coordinator position. With current Packers offensive coordinator Tom Clements likely to be a head coaching candidate again next offseason, McAdoo could be in line for another promotion if the Packers offense continues to put up big numbers.
