There was no shortage of tales surrounding Seattle's Percy Harvin trade last week, one of which involved Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch refusing to get on the team's bus afterward.
According to Lynch's agent, Doug Hendrickson, that particular story was fiction.
"These reports of @MoneyLynch going off and not wanting to get on bus are absurd," Hendrickson tweeted on Tuesday. "Please report accurate stories and not bogus ones."
At the moment, it's difficult to know what is true anymore when it comes to the Seahawks. NFL Media's Michael Robinsonconfirmed a fight between Harvin and former teammate Golden Tate, though he would not say what it was about.
Could Lynch have taken a side in the fight? Might he have felt particularly close to Harvin?
For now, Pete Carroll would love nothing more than to have his players, and the media, stop pondering these questions. The Seahawks have five divisional games remaining and, according to Football Outsiders, a 60 percent chance of reaching the playoffs. He'd like that number to increase in the coming weeks.
