Calvin Ridley is considered one of the best high school wide receivers in the nation, and has committed to Alabama.
Ridley (6-foot-2, 170 pounds) is from Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch High (that's in the Fort Lauderdale area) and is participating at The Opening, an event for high-profile recruits. He showed off his receiving skills during a drill Tuesday, blowing past his defender and hauling in a pass one-handed.
Ridley currently is considered a four-star prospect on 247sports.com's composite recruiting rankings; with highlights like this -- and considering his measurables -- he easily could end up a five-star prospect.
