America's Team is climbing its way back into contention in the NFL Fantasy LIVE league. We were able to emerge from Week 11 with our second straight win by a margin of 84.72 - 60.90 over Fantasy LIVE host James Koh who had beaten America's Team earlier in the season. Let's recap what happened.
For America's Team, Russell Wilson was our leading scorer dropping 22.22 fantasy points while C.J. Anderson (11.50), Larry Donnell (11.40), Demaryius Thomas (10.30) and the Chargers defense (11.00) also had nice days. With Dez Bryant and Denard Robinson on a bye America's Team slotted in Sammy Watkins (3.50) and Steven Jackson (4.70) who both disappointed.
Koh had a rough time getting points on the board as the Eagles defense (-3.00) got rocked by the Packers, and both Ahmad Bradshaw (1.10) and Julius Thomas (0.30) left their games with injuries. Koh also had Michael Floyd (17.40) on his bench, but it's likely a ton of other fantasy owners did the same in Week 11.
This week America's Team takes on Dave Dameshek's team. Fortunately for us, Dameshek has Le'Veon Bell on a bye. He also has Brandin Cooks, who has been ruled out for the season with a broken thumb, and Jordan Cameron, who has yet to be cleared to practice as he recovers from a concussion, on his roster.
With a 5-6 record, America's Team needs to win every remaining matchup for a shot at a playoff spot in the NFL Fantasy LIVE league, so each lineup decision is now more important than ever. Thankfully we get Dez Bryant and Denard Robinson back this week, and when you toss in C.J. Anderson and Demaryius Thomas, America's Team is looking pretty strong right now (brushes off shoulders).
