America's Team: Plenty of Week 4 decisions to make

Break up Team America!

After a narrow loss in Week 1 to Michael Fabiano, America's Team has won two in a row -- thanks in part to a big Monday night from Matt Prater which aided a comeback against Dave Dameshek's Kool Kats. Now the team sits at 2-1 in the NFL Fantasy LIVE experts league.

It's pretty amazing to think that this team is nearly 3-0 and has yet to get any consistency out of the running back position -- thank you, DeSean Jackson! But now the bye weeks start and it's time to do some serious general managering ... starting with the quarterback spot.

Aaron Rodgers is on a bye this week and you don't have another QB option, so it's off to the waiver wire with you! On paper, there aren't a lot of exciting names, but in a fantasy world where Brian Hoyer and Tarvaris Jackson are outscoring some longtime fantasy studs, there could be hidden value. Besides, it's just for one week until Rodgers is back.

But that's not the only decision you're faced with this week. What to do about the shaky running back position. Stevan Ridley has been a bust so far this season. Can you really trust him this week against the Falcons -- especially with Brandon Bolden and LeGarrette Blount breathing down his neck? Or do you roll the dice with BenJarvus Green-Ellis and hope that he can hold off both Giovani Bernard and the Cleveland Browns defense in Week 4?

And we won't limit it just to the guys on your roster. We'll also open things up to some of the better options sitting on the waiver wire this week. There's certainly something to like about Steven Jackson's understudies -- even if you won't be able to get long-term value out of them.

Oh, and one more thing ... looks like Team America might have a little bit of a dilemma at the tight end spot. After weeks of fiddling around with the position while waiting for Rob Gronkowski to come back, you now have a choice to make. Do you take Gronk off the bench and give him his first start of the season against a Falcons defense that has been soft on tight ends? Or do you roll with Martellus Bennett who was a beast in Week 2, but looked just plain ugly in Week 3?

What's on the line this week? Not much. Just a chance to take over sole possession of first place in the division -- with a little help from Matt "Money" Smith's Suhey's Soup Sifter. But to get it done, you'll have to get past Marcas Grant's Championship Fring.

Then again, if Fring can't do any better than their pathetic 52-point performance from last week, it could be a cakewalk for Team America. After all, Darren McFadden can't throw a touchdown pass every week. Then again, can you expect to face just a combined four points from the QB, WR2 and flex position again this week?
