Anquan Boldin found out he had been traded to the San Francisco 49ers earlier this week when his phone blew up with text messages after he stepped off a plane in Senegal. He didn't see that coming.
"The way that I received it wasn't the best way, but it is what it is," Boldin said Thursday on ESPN's "Mike & Mike in the Morning." "No other thing to do but move forward.

"I felt like everything was going great. But that's the business part of this league. Sometimes it's unfortunate."
Boldin said he was surprised to learn of all the changes in Baltimore.
"Those guys were key components to us winning last year," Boldin said. "Paul Kruger had a great year. Dannell Ellerbe played great for us, especially down the stretch. Myself included in that. A guy like Ed Reed, I don't think you can let him go. He's a Ravens legend, the things that he's done for that organization. You can't lose a guy like that.
"It's definitely bittersweet. I always felt when I signed with Baltimore that would be the last place I called home in the NFL."
Boldin wasn't the only one surprised, but again, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome warned that significant changes were coming despite the Super Bowl victory.
