Arrelious Benn to miss four weeks for Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Arrelious Benn is expected to miss four weeks with a sprained anterior cruciate ligament, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Benn suffered the injury on the field Friday. It was later confirmed by the Tampa Bay Times.

The Bucs cut receiver Dez Briscoe on Thursday, meaning Benn likely will battle Tiquan Underwood for the No. 3 receiver job behind veterans Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams.

Benn started 14 games last season and had 30 receptions for 441 yards and three touchdowns.
