Viewed by many as a legitimate first-round prospect, Brown offers sideline-to-sideline range and tackle-shedding ability as the 2012 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. A typically solid Newsome pick, Brown combines college production with impressive game film and a solid performance at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Also regarded as a team leader with the requisite intangibles, Brown should allow the Ravens to cut ties with troubled linebacker Rolando McClain.
