Each week, Dan Hanzus sifts through the pro football landscape to bring you sublime subplots of NFL life. Some of it he loves. Some he does not. Other stuff, he can't quite decide. The ATL Buzz Report.
1. Buffalo boost
Good news for Buffalo Bills fans, whose team will stay in Orchard Park until at least 2020, just in time for Tom Brady to slide out of the AFC East picture.
2. Purple dance-off
The Minnesota Vikings held a break-dancing competition after practice Friday. That footage was more impressive than any Adrian Peterson run.
3. Kaep's crystal ball
Colin Kaepernick predicted his NFL success as a fourth-grader. No word if a young Alex Smith predicted a 104.1 passer rating would get him a spot on the bench.
4. Dignity for sack record!
Few NFL records annoy me more than Michael Strahan's Favre-aided sack mark set in 2001. J.J. Watt: Give us a sack record with its dignity restored.
5. Vick's slow fade
Poor Michael Vick was asked to mimic Robert Griffin III on the Eagles' scout team this week. Vick officially has the weirdest NFL career of all time.
6. Aa-Rod disses Pro Bowl
Aaron Rodgers must really hate free trips to Hawaii. The Packers star reiterated his issues with the Pro Bowl, a game he likes as much as "60 Minutes" profiles.
7. Sanchez's murky future
This is what we know about Mark Sanchez's New York Jets future at this point. He will be traded. Or he will not be traded. Does that clear things up for everyone?
8. Boo to Brian
Brian Urlacher says he doesn't care about fans or the media. Fans don't have to care about Urlacher, a man now coasting on name-brand recognition.
