IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have hired Joe Baker as an assistant secondary coach.
Baker has been an NFL assistant coach for four teams over 16 seasons. He spent the past three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Cowboys, who announced Baker's hiring Monday, last month hired Jerome Henderson from the Cleveland Browns to be their new secondary coach.
Baker also has worked with the St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Baker was a college receiver at Princeton, including two seasons (1987-88) when Cowboys coach Jason Garrett was the quarterback there.
